VEF-2025: NSZK will build a transport and logistics center and container terminal in Transbaikalsk

The corresponding agreement was signed by the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov and the General Director of the NSZK Group of Companies Alexander Merten.

Transport and logistics center (TLC) and a container terminal (CTZ) will be placed on the territory of the Trans-Baikal grain terminal-the flagship of the NSZK Group of Companies-the System Operator of the Strategic Program "New Ground Grain Corridor Russia-China".

The annual power of the TLC and KTZ will be up to 400 thousand teu* per year, and the storage capacity - up to 6 thousand teu*.NSZK invests up to 11 billion rubles in the project, while creating up to 200 new jobs.

“The creation of a transport and logistics center with a container terminal is a logical step to use the infrastructure already available on the Trans-Baikal grain terminal: ten railway tracks, the necessary communications.Thus, we will be able to provide effective trade and minimize the empty stroke of containers.Negotiations have already been held with the largest Russian marketplaces, for which this TLC can become a support point for transporting goods from the PRC directly to the regions of the Far East, ”explained Alexander Mertron, General Director of NSZK.

He added that the Trans -Baikal grain terminal and the TLC and KTZ built nearby should become a kind of magnet for another business.Thus, a full -fledged industrial park will appear in Transbaikalsk.

Recall that the Trans -Baikal grain terminal was put into trial with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2022.The industrial operation of the ZZT began at the end of 2024.The power of the terminal allows you to exceed up to 8 million tons of grain per year and store up to 80 thousand tons of products at a time.It is planned to bring the project at full capacity in the shortest possible time thanks to the signing of an intergovernmental agreement of the Russian Federation-PRC, which President Vladimir Putin instructed to conclude.
