In 2025, the implementation of a large -scale infrastructure project continues in Russia - “The New Ground Grain Corridor” (NSZK), designed to become a key element of export logistics of agricultural products from the territory of Siberia and the Far East.The first deputy general director of the NSZK Valery Zabrodin told Mikhail Mishustin, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut and the governor of Transbaikalia, that the terminal is located four kilometers from the border with China.For its operation, all the necessary infrastructure was created and 550 jobs were organized.Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that this is an important project for the country.

“The export potential is huge here.It is practically comparable to the volume of exports throughout the country over the past year.We will hold a meeting, we will consult - there are everyone who should make decisions.Colleagues must be engaged in all projects in one way or another in order to realize the export potential of the Trans -Baikal Territory, ”said Mikhail Mishustin.

The Trans -Baikal Grain Terminal is conceived as the first specialized railway terminal in the world, capable of solving a complex transport problem - overcoming the diverse of the railways of Russia (1520 mm) and China (1435 mm).Its performance reaches 1200 tons per hour, and a daily transshipment can be up to 25 thousand tons.Annual processing volume - up to 8 million tons.

The terminal is equipped with a modern separate grain storage system: 16 flat -bottomed bunkers with a total capacity of up to 80 thousand tons allow you to maintain product quality and ensure its traceability.The complex is able to simultaneously take up to 71 wagons from the Russian track and send up to 82 wagons to the Chinese network.

Previously, the development of transport and logistics potential of Transbaikalia, General Director of the New Land Ground Corridor group of companies, Alexander Merten, and the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov was discussed as part of a working meeting at the PMEF-2025.There, Alexander Osipov signed an agreement on the creation of the multifunctional complex "East Gate of Transbaikalsk - Manchuria" with the head of the company Viktor Emetsem.The project is large -scale, aimed at systemic improvement and economic development of Transbaikalia.We plan to build the complex until 2030.Investments in the project will amount to 50 billion rubles.13 thousand new jobs will be created.
