The Government of Transbaikalia and "Udokan Copper" signed an agreement on socio-economic interaction

The agreement on the socio-economic development of the Trans-Baikal Territory was signed on September 4 by the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov and the chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Udokan copper" Valery Kazikaev during the X Eastern Economic Forum.Long -year cooperation of the region and company made it possible to create large copper production in the Far East.

, in the framework of the new agreement “Udokan copper”, in particular, will finance the creation of project documentation for the repair of the Trans -Baikal Oncology Center.The company will also support the Baikal Territory team in rhythmic gymnastics on the open Cup of the Amur Tiger - “Gold of the Udokan” - and holding competitions in other types.“Udokan copper” will direct funds for the purchase of computer equipment and sports equipment for children's clubs and circles, and will also help in the improvement of the site for creativity and sports.Support for the project “School of the Udokan” for the best students and young teachers of Transbaikal State University will continue.Among the cultural events, which are traditionally supported by the "Udokan copper" - the Trans -Baikal International Film Festival, the music festival Oleg Lundstrem.

Recall, "Udokan copper" was created in 2008 to implement the project for the development of the Udokan copper deposit.In 2024, the company began commercial production of copper concentrate.The design capacity of the first stage of the udokan is 150 thousand tons of copper per year.The second stage is designed, which will increase production capacity to 500 thousand tons of copper per year.
